APPLICATIONS:
Our RDW tubing environmentally seals and protects a wide variety of electrical and
power distribution applications, including wire splices, breakouts, and connect- to-cable
transitions. The product high expansion ratio makes it possible to repair most damaged
cable jackets without removing connectors. Highly suitable for the marine, commercial,
industrial, telecommunications, automobile, avionics, and power generations and
distribution industries. |

RDW PRODUCT FEATURES AND DESCRIPTIONS:
A flexible tubing offering a dual wall construction with hot melt adhesive
coating forms a permanent flexible, waterproof barrier for all installations. The tubing
environmentally seals and protects components and interconnections. Its high shrink ratios
of 2:1, 3:1, and 4:1 allow for connector-to-cable sealing and its dual wall provides
increased mechanical protection. The tubing hot melt adhesive coating bonds well with a
wide variety of plastics, rubbers, and metals, including polyethylene, aluminum, steel,
and copper. RDW tubing operates well in temperature ranges from -55deg C to +85deg C. This
product has been tested and approved under Military specification MIL-1-23053/4 class 3. |
